As a busy mom with one baby under the age of one, I’m always on the lookout for recipes that are both delicious and simple to make.

This year, for my husband’s birthday, I decided to try my hand at a dessert that my mom has made before, but I had never tried myself: Better Than Sex Cake and also sometimes known as Better Than Anything Cake.

While the name might be a bit scandalous, I assure you that the taste of this cake is nothing short of heavenly.

Ingredients: Better than Sex Cake

To make this indulgent treat, you will need:

Step By Step Process:

Bake the Cake: Begin by preparing the Devil’s Food chocolate cake mix according to the instructions on the box.

Once baked, let the cake cool for a few minutes before moving on to the next step.

Poke Holes: Using the back of a wooden spoon or fork, poke holes all over the top of the cake.

Make sure to poke deep enough that the sweetened condensed milk and caramel topping can seep into the holes.

Add Sweetened Condensed Milk: Pour the can of sweetened condensed milk over the top of the cake, making sure to pour it evenly across the entire surface.

The holes you created earlier will allow the milk to soak into the Better than Sex Cake, adding extra moisture and sweetness.

Drizzle with Caramel Topping: Next, drizzle the jar of caramel topping over the cake, again making sure to distribute it evenly.

The combination of the sweetened condensed milk and caramel topping creates a rich and decadent flavor that is sure to satisfy any sweet tooth.

Top with Whipped Topping: Finally, spread a layer of whipped topping over the top of the cake.

This will help to balance out the sweetness of the other ingredients and add a light and airy texture.

Garnish with Toffee Bits: For an extra touch of indulgence, sprinkle a generous amount of Heath or toffee bits over the top of the cake.

Not only do they add a delicious crunch, but they also complement the flavors of the chocolate and caramel perfectly.

Store and Serve: Once assembled, you can either serve the Better than Sex Cake immediately or store it in the refrigerator until you’re ready to serve.

This cake is best served chilled, as it allows the flavors to meld together and creates a truly decadent dessert experience.
