Ingredients
For the Cookie Dough
- 1 cup unsalted butter softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
For Rolling
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar for rolling
For Topping
- 48 Hershey’s Kisses unwrapped
Instructions
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper or silicone baking mats.
- In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and creamy peanut butter until light and fluffy.
- Beat in the eggs, one at a time, and then add the vanilla extract. Mix until well combined.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing just until combined. Be careful not to overmix.
Shape Dough into Balls
- Scoop out tablespoon-sized portions of dough and roll them into balls. Roll each ball in granulated sugar to coat evenly.
Place on Baking Sheets
- Place the coated dough balls about 2 inches apart on the prepared baking sheets.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are golden but the centers are still soft.
- While the cookies are baking, unwrap the Hershey’s Kisses.
Add Hershey's Kisses
- As soon as the cookies come out of the oven, press a Hershey's Kiss into the center of each cookie. The edges may crack slightly, and that's okay.
- Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring them to wire racks to cool completely.
