Air Fryer Chicken Sausage with Baby Potatoes and Bell Peppers
This quick and healthy air fryer recipe combines lean chicken sausage, baby potatoes, and colorful bell peppers for a delicious, balanced meal perfect for busy weeknights.
Preheat the Air Fryer: Start by preheating your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 5 minutes.
Prepare the Ingredients: To start off, wash and dice the baby potatoes. Also, dice the bell peppers into ½ inch pieces.
Season the Potatoes and Peppers: In your air fryer bucket, add the diced potatoes. Drizzle with extra virgin oil, then sprinkle with the garlic powder, onion powder, Lawry's seasoning, dried thyme, salt, and pepper. Toss everything together until the potatoes are well coated.
Arrange in the Air Fryer: Place the seasoned potatoes in the air fryer basket.
Cook the Potatoes: Air fry the vegetables for 10-15 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through to ensure even cooking.
Add the Chicken Sausage and Bell Peppers: After 10 minutes, add the chicken sausage links and bell peppers on top of the baby potatoes. Continue to air fry for another 10-12 minutes, or until the sausage is fully cooked and the potatoes are tender. Shake the basket or mix the sausages halfway through cooking.
Check for Doneness: Ensure the sausage reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C) and that the potatoes are fork-tender.
Serve: Once everything is cooked, transfer the sausage, potatoes, and bell peppers to a serving platter. Garnish with fresh herbs if desired, and serve immediately.
