Baked Pizza Pasta Casserole

This easy pizza pasta casserole combines tender rotini pasta, hearty marinara sauce, seasoned ground beef, melty mozzarella and parmesan, and classic pepperoni for a family-friendly dinner everyone loves. Perfect for busy weeknights or meal prep, this cheesy baked pizza pasta is a comforting, crowd-pleasing recipe that’s simple to make and packed with bold Italian flavor.

Ingredients
  

  • 16 oz 1lb dry Rotini Pasta
  • 32 oz Marinara Sauce
  • 16 slices of pepperoni
  • 2 bell peppers diced
  • 1 1/2 cups mozzarella cheese shredded
  • 3/4 cup parmesan cheese grated
  • 2 tbsp Italian seasoning
  • 4 garlic cloves minced
  • 1/2 onion diced
  • 1 lb ground beef

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease your aluminum pans.
  • Cook the rotini pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  • In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Add diced onions and bell peppers, cooking until softened.
  • Stir in minced garlic and Italian seasoning, cooking for an additional minute until fragrant.
  • Add marinara sauce to the skillet, stirring until well combined. Simmer for 5-7 minutes.
  • Combine cooked pasta with the meat sauce mixture. Mix in half of the mozzarella and parmesan cheese.
  • Transfer the mixture evenly into prepared aluminum pans. Top with remaining mozzarella cheese, parmesan cheese, and pepperoni slices.
  • Cover pans tightly with aluminum foil and label with baking instructions if freezing.
  • Bake covered for 25-30 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden.
