- ½ cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup white sugar
- 2 eggs
- 3 large ripe bananas
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 tsp baking powder
- ¾ tsp baking soda
- ½ salt
- 1½ cups flour
- ½ cup chocolate chips
In a large mixing bowl cream butter and sugar together. Once thoroughly creamed together, add eggs, vanilla, and bananas, beat about 1 minute.
Mix the flour, soda, baking powder, and salt together. Stir into the butter mixture.
Add chocolate chips. Pour into 8x4x2 1/2 inch loaf pan.
Bake at 350 degrees F for about one hour. If you're using smaller loaf pans bake for 30 - 45 minutes.
Makes one large loaf and 3-4 small loafs.
