Ingredients
  

  • ½ cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 3 large ripe bananas
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • ¾ tsp baking soda
  • ½ salt
  • cups flour
  • ½ cup chocolate chips

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F and grease a standard loaf pan.
  • In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  • Stir in the mashed bananas and vanilla extract until combined.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the baking powder, baking soda, salt, and flour.
  • Gently fold the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just combined.
  • Fold in the chocolate chips.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
