Ingredients

  • 2 10oz canned cooked chicken
  • 2 8oz cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup ranch dressing
  • ¾ cup buffalo hot sauce
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 green onions

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, combine the canned chicken, softened cream cheese, ranch dressing, buffalo sauce, and shredded cheddar cheese.
  • Mix well until everything is fully combined.
  • Transfer the mixture to a Dutch oven, pot, or crockpot.
  • If using the stovetop, heat over medium low until the mixture melts together and becomes smooth and creamy.
  • If using the crockpot, cook on low for 4-6 hours or high for two to three hours until warm and melted.
  • Stir before serving and keep warm for guests. Add the diced green onions for garnish.

Notes

Note: I add about 1-2 tsps of Holy Voodoo Seasoning from Meat Church
  • I recommend making your ranch homemade using my homemade ranch recipe, it makes the flavor even more distinct and bold.
  • See notes above in the blog post on the different types of chicken you can use for this recipe, canned chicken is nice if you're making this last minute; however, I recommend for the best flavor using smoked shredded chicken.
