Cream Cheese Frosting

Ingredients
  

  • 8 oz cream cheese room temperature
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter room temperature
  • 5 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice add if your making with pumpkin desserts

Instructions
 

  • In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese and butter together until smooth and creamy.
  • Add the powdered sugar one cup at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  • Stir in the vanilla extract.
  • Continue to beat the frosting until it reaches a fluffy and spreadable consistency.
