Ingredients

  • 1 pkg hot dogs
  • 1 8oz block of pepper jack cheese
  • 1 pkg refrigerated crescent roll dough

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles along the perforated lines. If you're feeling ambitious, you can use a pizza cutter to cut each triangle into smaller pieces for bite-sized pigs in a blanket.
  • Cut the hot dogs in thirds.
  • Place a hot dog at the wider end of each crescent roll triangle along with a slice of pepper jack cheese and roll it up towards the point. Arrange the wrapped sausages on a baking sheet, leaving a little space between each one.
  • Optional step: For an extra touch, brush the tops of the wrapped sausages with a beaten egg and sprinkle sesame seeds on top. This adds a nice crunch and visual appeal.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until the crescent roll dough is golden brown and cooked through.
  • Once done, let the pigs in a blanket cool for a few minutes before serving
