Ingredients
  

  • 6 eggs
  • 1/4 cup whole milk
  • 1/2 lb breakfast sausage
  • 1/2 yellow onion diced
  • 1 red bell pepper diced
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 tsp parsley
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 pie crust (store-bought or homemade

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • In a skillet over medium heat, cook breakfast sausage until browned and cooked through, breaking it into crumbles. Remove from skillet and drain excess grease.
  • In the same skillet, sauté diced onion and bell pepper until softened, about 5 minutes. Add minced garlic and cook for another minute until fragrant. Remove from heat and set aside.
  • In a large mixing bowl, whisk together eggs and milk until well combined. Season with salt, pepper, and parsley.
  • Stir in cooked sausage, sautéed vegetables, and shredded cheddar cheese into the egg mixture.
  • Roll out the pie crust and press it into a 9-inch pie dish. Pour the egg mixture into the pie crust.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the quiche is set and the crust is golden brown.
  • Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly before slicing and serving.
